PTFE Packing with Graphite Filling Reinforced with Aramid
This type of packing uses the properties of PTFE yarns filled with graphite with silicone oil, complementing them with the mechanical strength of aramid. The special weave consists of reinforcing the corners with aramid while maintaining the movement properties of PTFE, gives flexibility, reduces friction and at the same time improves heat dissipation. The design of this packing was developed for users of pumps and fittings having problems with abrasive media. This packing also performs well in piston pumps and is suitable for water, oils, fuels, solvents, as well as medium-strength acids and bases.
