Aramid Fiber Packing
Braided packing made of continuous aramid fibres with a characteristic yellow colour and especially high abrasion resistance. The packing is impregnated with PTFE dispersion aimed at sealing spaces between elementary fibres, reducing friction and improving elasticity, thus providing an indispensable seal in many applications. It is designed for pumps and valves of media exposed to abrasive materials. Aramid is especially recommended for locking rings in packing sets for media heavily contaminated with solid particles. Packing for use in high-pressure pumps and fittings in contact with water, steam, salt solutions, medium-power acids and bases and organic media such as fuels, oils, greases or solvents. The product is also suitable for hygienic applications.
