Refractory bricks JM

The insulation range of JM bricks is recommended for applications at temperatures of 1260 °C – 1760 °C. JM refractory bricks are made from highly pure refractory clays with a progressively higher proportion of alumina for products intended for use at higher temperatures, and carefully saturated with an organic filler which burns out during the manufacturing process to give a uniform controlled porous structure.

Features:

Superior mechanical properties with low thermal conductivity

  • Light weight and low thermal conductivity reduce heat absorption, providing significant energy savings and reduced emissions

Low iron flux and alkali content provides high refractoriness under load in service conditions

  • Available in several sizes, up to 700 mm (27½ “) long, which can be machined into special shapes or installed, reducing the need for multiple sections and connections
  • Low heat capacity
  • High level of purity
  • High hot compressive strength
  • Wide range of mortars available to provide long lasting joints with excellent performance
