Cerachem Blanket® 1425

Cerachem® blanket mat features superior chemical stability and strength both before and after heating. Its acoustic and thermal insulation properties are truly remarkable. Due to the wide range of density and thickness variants available, these products can be used very effectively in a variety of applications.

  • Resistance to most chemicals except hydrofluoric and phosphoric acid and strong alkalis
  • Excellent heat resistance: fibres with good recrystallization resistance
  • Low heat accumulation coefficient
  • The combination of long fibres and the needling process produces a tough, resilient and strong mat which is resistant to breaking both before and after annealing
  • Resistance to sudden temperature changes
  • Good sound absorption
  • Classification temperature: 1425°C
